Subject [jira] [Commented] (COUCHDB-1960) Provide pagination for /_all_dbs
Date Wed, 18 Dec 2013 14:52:08 GMT

Dave Cottlehuber commented on COUCHDB-1960:

If I read this correctly, each _all_dbs ? limit query does a whole directory scan each time,
and we don't cache this. Is this risky? Other than that concern I am +1.

DEFAULT_LIMIT of 16#10000000 could be given a more descriptive/enlightening name, maybe MAXIMUM_DBS_RETURNED
or something?
Also it needs some doc entry + ./share/doc/src/whatsnew/1.6.rst updated.

be existing code from Cloudant for this one).
