The other approach is to do nothing, of course. :)

When are we gonna replace Autotools? Soon, I hope. The existing setup
works, it's just manual. No urgency to this.

Side note (for Benoit or anyone else familiar with this stuff): how is this
sort of thing handled with rebar?
