Wendall, that's huge progress - thanks!

+1 for Dale's suggestion. A shared test suite across couch variants makes
absolute sense. We'll clearly still have a need for erlang tests.

I'm -1 on Elixir as we don't have it in the codebase today, and it's
debugging support is still minimal.
