Subject [jira] [Created] (COUCHDB-1693) Hook up delete database button on the _all_dbs page
Date Mon, 11 Mar 2013 23:51:12 GMT
Russell Branca created COUCHDB-1693:
---------------------------------------

Summary: Hook up delete database button on the _all_dbs page
                 Key: COUCHDB-1693
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/COUCHDB-1693
             Project: CouchDB
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: Fauxton
            Reporter: Russell Branca

There's a button for deleting a database(s) on the _all_dbs page that is not currently hooked
up. It should do the standard confirmation "are you sure you want to delete this database"
to verify the user's intent.

There is also currently a design in place for bulk database deletion by allowing you to select
a set of databases, so the delete function would also need to work with a group. I'm not convinced
bulk database deletion in the UI is the best approach, but I could see it being useful for
development where you're dealing with a lot of databases.
