Hi Dave-

Thanks for the response.  This is a brand new machine I got today.  I just
went ahead and fired the brew install couchdb and noticed it didn't work.
 It installed erlang 16 and couch failed with the same errors as everyone
else is getting.

Anyway, I went ahead with the first command and its telling me that erlang
forumla has a syntax error now...

Any ideas?  Here is my output from running brew doctor after reverting...
