That is correct. To be precise, the limitation used to be in skip, limit has always been fine,
but they usually go together.

A thing to keep in mind: if you ever want to grow to a sharded CouchDB solution (say BigCouch),
skip will become "slow" again, as it can't be optimised over a cluster.
