Subject [jira] [Commented] (COUCHDB-860) Futon appends wrong version number to files
Date Thu, 20 Oct 2011 23:04:11 GMT

Randall Leeds commented on COUCHDB-860:

Not true. It asks that clients revalidate. The mochiweb_request:serve_file call we use provides
the last-modified header from the file mtime. Clients interested in caching should provide
if-modified-since and mochiweb will properly handles the 304 in this case:
I like that much more than having autotools generate all these files.

> Futon appends the CouchDB version number to the JavaScript files it loads. In 1.0.1 it
still appends 0.11
