Please change the top line of the couchdb script from:

#! /bin/sh -e

To:

#! /bin/sh -ex

Then run the command again, piping the output to a file:

couchdb -n -a /tmp/tmpuPqqSF.paisley.test/test.ini &> output.txt

Then attach the file to this ticket.
