Subject [jira] Closed: (COUCHDB-70) See if the plists package improves CouchDB's performance
Date Fri, 08 Oct 2010 23:12:33 GMT

Paul Joseph Davis closed COUCHDB-70.

    Resolution: Not A Problem

Learned more Erlang. Benefits of a flat out s/lists:/plists:/ would not be a net plus due
to process management. Cases plists might be handy are easily solved without the dependency.

It's implementation allows list operations to run in parallel claiming speed-ups on multi-core,
multi-CPU and multi-node-VM setups. We could check if CouchDB would benefit from that. plists
lives at and is released under the MIT license.
