Subject [jira] Commented: (COUCHDB-705) hard limit on number of concurrent requests
Date Wed, 07 Apr 2010 19:36:33 GMT

Chris Anderson commented on COUCHDB-705:

the only thing I see here is that the line:

MaxConnections = couch_config:get("httpd", "max_connections", 2048),

should instead specify 2048 as "2048" and parse the string to int, as in cases where it's
config'd, I think we'll get a string back.

At least that's how couch deals with numeric config elsewhere.

> mochiweb has a default maximum number of concurrent requests set to 2048. For some deployments
this is too small. Many simultaneous replications can easily exhaust this limit and cause
slow responses to client requests.
