I *think* it's a Futon issue.  I would need to look into it to be sure though, perhaps it
can be solved using some kind of lazy loading/rendering.

We should also upgrade to jQuery 1.3.2, see COUCHDB-432.  1.3.2 has performance improvements
related to :visible/:hidden selectors which may affect us, and it should improve performance
generally.
