Subject version numbering 0.9.0 > 0.10.0 ?
Date Fri, 03 Jul 2009 20:23:40 GMT
 I did not find anything at http://couchdb.apache.org about
 version numbering philosophy for couchdb.

 A nit, no doubt, and still,

  0.9 > 0.10 mathematically and Erlangy. (and 0.9 == 0.90)

 The previous version was 0.8.x, less than the current version.
 Makes sense to me as the newer release number is higher than
 an older release.

 I would have expected the next version to be something such as
 0.91.0 or 0.9.1 as the release approaches 1.0.0 and beyond.

 So, why is the next version a smaller number than the current version ?

 thanks, and please advise,

 ~Michael
