Subject [jira] Resolved: (COUCHDB-69) Allow selective retaining of older revisions to a document
Date Mon, 29 Jun 2009 04:32:47 GMT

Paul Joseph Davis resolved COUCHDB-69.

       Resolution: Won't Fix
    Fix Version/s: 0.10
         Assignee: Paul Joseph Davis

We've beat it into peoples heads to not rely on the internal _revisions for user access except
for in the hopefully rare "Oops undo" situation. If someone has a convincing argument to implement
this feel free to reopen.

> At the moment, compaction gets rid of all old revisions of a document. Also, replication
also deals with the latest revision. It would be nice if it would be possible to specify a
list of revisions to keep around that do not get compacted away and replicated.
