Subject [jira] Commented: (COUCHDB-5) Implement COPY and MOVE HTTP methods
Date Fri, 21 Mar 2008 23:03:24 GMT

Brent Calder commented on COUCHDB-5:
------------------------------------

Perhaps implemented with a user modifiable reserved key (no MOVE operation required). 301
seems to be the most important. A query-string option could be set to perform operations
on the "moved" document.

> I would like to see a MOVE operation result in a Permanent Redirect being returned
> for the original location until such time as the original location is overwritten
> with a new document.
