Dennis E. Hamilton commented on COR-30:
---------------------------------------

Right, I was thinking more in terms of interoperability with whatever the imported/exported
formats are (since there is no persistent Google-Doc format outside of whatever is stored
in Google Drive), and being aware of those.

The prospect of browser-based but locally-operated (and cloud-backed) apps is something I
am aware of as a flavor of Corinthia usage at the Editor level, and this task is more about
information-gathering concerning other approaches and perhaps something that someone might
want to interwork with using Corinthia-provided functions.

> There are various approaches to making document processing available across cloud-backed
ecosystems. Some of them may represent the least that can possibly work, but having facets
that may be meaningful in Corinthia adoption and deployment cases.
> This JIRA task provides some early consolidation, possible creation of subtasks, and
some aggregation in a single place before providing something more enduring on the web or
wiki.
