Subject [jira] [Commented] (COR-10) Port to linux (using webkit and Firefox)
Date Sun, 18 Jan 2015 16:15:34 GMT

Dennis E. Hamilton commented on COR-10:

I don't understand the question. It might be helpful to expand a little bit on the actual
use case.

Here is what I am left wondering:

In what way do you mean "use Firefox"?

In what way do you mean reused for Windows? (Firefox runs on Windows of course.)

Are we talking about

 1. Using Mozilla libraries?
 2. Using Firefox-dependent CSS?
 3. Using Firefox in some way that it provides the GUI framework to a locally-hosted application?

Would we also mean "reused for Chrome?"

If we mean using a browser to host the editor, is the editor running as a local application
(i.e., has DocFormats libraries on the local machine) or running as the front-end of a cloud
