It seems that setting the deployment-target is not enough, if you create a skeleton Cordova app and run it (no plugins, just run the app) in on iOS 8, the app fails to initialize with an error: {code} dyld: Symbol not found: ___NSDictionary0__ Referenced from: Expected in: /Library/Developer/CoreSimulator/Profiles/Runtimes/iOS 8.4.simruntime/Contents/Resources/RuntimeRoot/System/Library/Frameworks/CoreFoundation.framework/CoreFoundation in /Users/geoffreygiordano/Library/Developer/CoreSimulator/Devices/ {code} Doing some googling, I found some older notes on this error indicating that one of the project's libraries is linked against 9.0. Any thoughts? > Remove iOS 8 support > -------------------- > > Key: CB-12523 > URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-12523 > Project: Apache Cordova > Issue Type: Bug > Components: cordova-ios > Reporter: Shazron Abdullah > Assignee: Shazron Abdullah > Fix For: cordova-ios@4.4.0 > > > Consensus on the dev@ list that we can drop iOS 8 support since our policy has always been supporting the current (iOS 10) and one iOS version back. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.4.14#64029) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: issues-unsubscribe@cordova.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: issues-help@cordova.apache.org
