Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-12446) Screen Goes Black after Plugin Install - iOS
Date Fri, 10 Feb 2017 21:25:42 GMT

Simon C commented on CB-12446:

I have tested on iOS 9.2 (and 8.2 just for fun) and see the same issue. I also just tried
it on Android and did not see the issue (android 6.1.2), so it is iOS only so far.

One thing I just noticed, which is hard to see with the black screen, is the spinner can be
seen in upper left corner where the carrier is in the very corner of the screen and is cut
off outside the screen.

> I have an app that is working properly. I add in the status bar plugin without changing
anything else. I run it on the simulator on iOS 10 on an iPhone 7 and the screen goes black
after the launch screen disappears. Tried different emulators and on the live device all
with the same results. I add in the preferences to StatusBarOverlaysWebView and still nothing
happens better. I uninstall the plugin and then everything works properly again.

the status bar plugin:

> cordova-plugin-whitelist 1.3.1 "Whitelist"
