Thanks for quick reply! I'm aware I could be polling navigator.connection.type, but that means
I'd have to be polling. Listening to event would be much cleaner in the code than manually
doing it. 

I agree that network type is not reliable enough to determine connection speed, but I guess
in some cases it's enough.
