Date Mon, 09 Jan 2017 18:39:58 GMT
Eric Wooley created CB-12338:
--------------------------------

Summary: Black bar in IOS landscape app, after returning to app with different
orientation
                 Key: CB-12338
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-12338
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Plugin Statusbar
    Affects Versions: 2.2.0
         Environment: IOS 9
            Reporter: Eric Wooley

Origianally I thought this issue was with the barcode scanner, so I opened an issue there.
However, i was directed here, and found that it was indeed a statusbar issue. [Original Issue](https://github.com/phonegap/phonegap-plugin-barcodescanner/issues/398)

*Expected Behaviour*
Orientation returns to normal.

*Actual Behaviour*
black bar is visible on right side of screen.

*Steps to Reproduce*

1. add `<preference name="Orientation" value="landscape" />` to your config.xml

2. install phonegap-plugin-barcodescanner

3. launch application, begin scan barcode

4. switch to portrait mode.

5. scan barcode

6. When returned to app, black bar appears on right (landscape mode)

*Platform and Version (eg. Android 5.0 or iOS 9.2.1)*

IOS 9.3.4

*Cordova CLI version and cordova platform version*

cordova --version - 6.4.0
cordova platforms - IOS

*Work around*

executing `StatusBar.hide(); StatusBar.show()` causes the bar to go away.
