This sounds like a strange internal proxy error.  We've ran into similar issues years ago
with Telus devices and Android 2.0.  We are moving away from the Online_Bridge to the JsExec
bridge because it is more thread safe, and once Cordova-Android 6.0.0 is out, I will most
likely be closing this issue, since this should no longer be an issue on these funky devices,
assuming we still support them.

(And yeah, we should be supporting Android 5.0.1)
