Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-8947) alert() crashes when passing a JSON object on iOS
Date Thu, 28 Jul 2016 22:34:20 GMT

ASF GitHub Bot commented on CB-8947:

Github user don commented on the issue:
@jcesarmobile passing strings as the message is the *right* thing to do, IMO. My main
goal was to stop iOS from crashing when the user sent bad data. I think the documentation
should still recommend String.
I just left the "Prompt message" default since that one didn't crash. I'll update that
one to match the others.

> In the error handler of a geolocation retrieval I had alert(error); which crashes, because
I passed an object into the function call. This shouldn't happen.
