-----------------------------------------------------------------

When i set invalid value the gradle fails with
{noformat}
:processDebugResources
E:\PROJECTS\Temp\foo\platforms\android\build\intermediates\manifests\full\debug\AndroidManifest.xml:35:40-43
: AAPT: String types not allowed (at 'screenOrientation' with value 'foo').
{noformat}

However, setting {{android:screenOrientation="userPortrait"}} which is supported starting
from API level 18, and {{<uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="14" android:targetSdkVersion="14"
android:maxSdkVersion="14"/>}} doesn't produce any errors. It is possible that device will
just ignore unknown values here, but i'm not sure about this. Maybe [~bowserj] could shed
some light here?

Though i agree with skipping validation in prepare We'd better rely on Android SDK here

> Hi,
> I want to set Manifest.xml activity with android:screenOrientation="nosensor"
> http://developer.android.com/guide/topics/manifest/activity-element.html#screen
> In cordova doc :
> Additionally, you can specify any platform-specific orientation value if you place the
<preference> element within a <platform> element:
> So, I do it in config.xml
> <platform name="android">
>         <preference name="orientation" value="nosensor" />
> </platform>
> but on build :
> Unsupported global orientation: nosensor. Defaulting to value: default
