Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-9975) No longer able to use "all" as orientation for ios
Date Fri, 19 Feb 2016 18:20:18 GMT

Dan Polivy commented on CB-9975:

I believe there's still an issue here; in the following scenario, the platform-specific value
is not taking preference as I would expect:

global: default, ios: all --> no plist entries

In this scenario, both the global and the platform specific preference setting get copied
to the platform's config.xml, and the 'default' wins out. Is it a supported scenario to "override"
a global preference with a platform specific setting?

I am testing with cordova@6.0.0.

Today on Twitter someone noticed that when they set orientation now, they get an error in
the CLI. I updated my CLI to the latest, and can confirm it is now broken. If you set ios
orientation to all, you get:
> Unsupported global orientation: all
> Defaulting to value: default
> This is obviously wrong on two accounts - it wasn't a global orientation (it was ios
only) and all should be supported.
