Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-10288) statusbar plugin interaction with iOS multitasking
Date Tue, 12 Jan 2016 18:18:39 GMT

jcesarmobile commented on CB-10288:

"Why not?...All you have to do is make the launch screen a storyboard"

So, the real answer is no, cordova doesn't support multitask yet, but you can add it manually
(or with a plugin?) easily.

See and
(open issues to add the multitask support) and
(UIRequiresFullScreen is set to true by default, so it doesn't allow multitask)

To reproduce CB-4712 you have to use the 1.0.1 version of the plugin and receive a call or
activate the hotspot/internet sharing while StatusBar overlaysWebView is set to false. Version
2.0.0 has the fix, so you can't reproduce it there.

Of course it shouldn't break multitasking or anything, I didn't do it on purpose

the cordova app onto the screen from the right, the window resizing is not handled correctly
(much larger widths thsn actual are reported and reflected in the rendering).

unwanted effects of this would be.
