Nick Redding commented on CB-10288:

In answer to your question "Is cordova supporting multi-task already?" -- why not? It's trivial
if the cordova app properly supports multiple screen sizes and orientations and associated
transitions. All you have to do is make the launch screen a storyboard. And if your app makes
assumptions about screen sizes and orientation, you can disable multi-tasking by specifying
"requires full screen."

The fact is this line of code responsible for this bug report causes iOS webview rendering
to break when multitasking is used. This is ultimately an iOS bug (the API shouldn't allow
this type of f**k up), but good luck getting Apple to deal with that.

BTW I couldn't reproduce CB 4712 on my iPhone6/iOS9. Can you explain how to reproduce? Bottom
line: If CB 4712 is an iOS9 issue, the fix should not break multitasking.

> In pluginInitialize the statement
> [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserver:self selector:@selector(statusBarDidChangeFrame:)
name: UIApplicationDidChangeStatusBarFrameNotification object:nil];
> causes incorrect rendering behavior when using iOS multitasking split window. When pulling
the cordova app onto the screen from the right, the window resizing is not handled correctly
(much larger widths thsn actual are reported and reflected in the rendering).
> Commenting out this statement eliminates the problem, but it is not clear what the potentially
unwanted effects of this would be.
