jcesarmobile commented on CB-10288:
-----------------------------------

And can you reproduce CB-5439? that line fixes it too, and some other issues not reported.

Try activating and deactivating hotspot while you are using the app, does it resize correctly?
No, it doesn't. The same when you receive a call.

That line can't be removed, we have to listen UIApplicationDidChangeStatusBarFrameNotification
because when the statusbar size changes it affects the size and position of the webview and
the view used as statusbar when setting a statusbar color.

Have you tried using StatusBar.hide(), StatusBar.show(), StatusBar.overlaysWebView(false)
or StatusBar.overlaysWebView(false) while you are on multitasking mode?
with or without the line it will break the app layout.

*All that will be fixed properly and it will be released when it's ready*, but we won't remove
that line because it doesn't really fixes anything and it will bring back a lot of issues.

> In pluginInitialize the statement
> [[NSNotificationCenter defaultCenter] addObserver:self selector:@selector(statusBarDidChangeFrame:)
name: UIApplicationDidChangeStatusBarFrameNotification object:nil];
> causes incorrect rendering behavior when using iOS multitasking split window. When pulling
the cordova app onto the screen from the right, the window resizing is not handled correctly
(much larger widths thsn actual are reported and reflected in the rendering).
> Commenting out this statement eliminates the problem, but it is not clear what the potentially
unwanted effects of this would be.
