It was recently suggested in a plugin audit that the console plugin should maybe be done away
with altogether and integrated into the platforms by default. You can check out that proposal

developer would have to add cordova-plugin-console for console.log to work on iOS. I am not
sure about any of the other platforms such as Blackberry, Browser, etc.This can become an
extra time waster when in case an app developer is stuck with troubleshooting, especially
when facing a critical deadline (which is common for mobile apps).
