Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-7107) Docs do nothing to explain why you would use this
Date Fri, 18 Dec 2015 03:57:46 GMT

Jesse Monroy commented on CB-7107:

I agree with Chris. There should be some consistency across all platforms. I recognize that
this service may be unfamiliar to the native platform, but waiting for the manufacture to
act is not always the best option. This service *should not* alienate the manufacture - as
it provides an enhancement they should be providing.

> The docs have this to say about the plugin:
> "This plugin is meant to ensure that console.log() is as useful as it can be. It adds
additional function for iOS, Ubuntu, Windows Phone 8, and Windows 8. If you are happy with
how console.log() works for you, then you probably don't need this plugin."
> And that's it. It does nothing, as far as I can see, to tell you what "as useful as it
can be" actually means. It sounds like it may 'fix' console.log where it doesn't work, but
it doesn't clearly say that.
> It also says it adds "additional function" - ok - so what additional function?
