----------------------------------

let's continue on CB-8542 as it talks about a delay when opening the camera or the photolibrary

post there the camera version you are using, I can't reproduce the problem on latest (1.2.0)

> When using an iPad on iOS 8.4 or iOS 9, if you make a getPicture call and pass sourceType:navigator.camera.PictureSourceType.PHOTOLIBRARY
it takes from 30 seconds to 3 minutes for the "Photos" popover to appear. This only happens
on iPad, not on iPhone.
> This blog article talks about the problem and how it affects lots of apps, but it says
that Facebook and Instagram seem to have worked around this problem by only loading the most
recent photos into that photo selector popup, rather than all photos from forever. Here's
the link to that blog article:
> Here is another forum in which people are discussing this issue:
> Any ideas on how to either fix or work around it? I find it very strange that the problem
only happens on iPad and not iPhone. But it seems that iPad is the only one that does the
popover thing. So it definitely has to do with that, and in fact maybe the problem is just
that the popover itself is taking a long time, I'm not sure.
