Subject [jira] [Created] (CB-8135) hidekeyboard event is fired when focus is moved from text input to password
Date Mon, 08 Dec 2014 07:23:12 GMT
Karna created CB-8135:
-------------------------

Summary: hidekeyboard event is fired when focus is moved from text input to password
                 Key: CB-8135
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/CB-8135
             Project: Apache Cordova
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Android
    Affects Versions: 4.1.3
            Reporter: Karna

When focus is moved to password field, the keyboard's auto word suggest bar is hidden. I dont
have experience in JAVA, but i guess the LinearLayoutSoftKeyboardDetect class is calculating
the port height for detecting the keyboard activity. To my understanding once the word suggesting
bars is closed the height of the port is changed and the new height is greater than the old
height, So the hidekeyboard event is fired as per the condition. Please help me to fix this
issue.
