[~vielhuber] This isn't guaranteed to work in Java code. You can't tell whether the keyboard
is present or not without physically looking at the device, and there's already enough Android
fragmentation with different devices, let alone third-party keyboard input.  We already have
enough Heisenbugs that I think supporting this feature isn't worth the additional issues that
it would create.
