Vladimir Kotikov commented on CB-6699:
--------------------------------------

I've tried to reproduce this:
# create new empty project, add windows8 platform.
# replace all content elements pointing to files in ww with single <Content Include="www\**"
/>
# open project in VS2012
# delete index.html file from www inside VS
# save and unload project then load project again
I see that VS reorders <itemGroup> that contains files from www and insert <Content>
entry for each file. But project still looks/works fine.
I've tried to delete file outside VS. After reloading project it also looks ok an works fine.
_I don't see any issues with this._

> Every time, when you trigger `cordova prepare/build` or `plugman install/uninstall/prepare`
(this also `include cordova plugin add/rm`), cordova removes all references to www/* files
from .jsproj file and then adds tags like {noformat}
>   <ItemGroup>
>     <Content Include="www\index.html" />
>   </ItemGroup>
> {noformat}
> to .jsproj file.
> *Proposal:* We can use one entry like {noformat}
>   <ItemGroup>
>     <Content Include="www\**" />
>   </ItemGroup>
> {noformat} for all files in www folder including static assets and plugins' .js modules
(like described [here|http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms171454.aspx])
