Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-5660) [BlackBerry10] init.bat fails when parentheses exist within PATH
Date Wed, 18 Dec 2013 12:52:12 GMT

Matthew Keable commented on CB-5660:

I can confirm that the problem exists on Windows 7 64bit. 64bit versions of windows are more
likely to encounter this problem because they store any 32-bit programs in Program Files (x86).

Retrying with the updated version of init.bat that you've linked to as the pull request there,
I now get an error telling me "Error: Requirements check failed: node cannot be found on the
path. Aborting."

Typing "where node" into the command line tells me: it's in "C:\Program Files\nodejs\node.exe"
so it is on the path.

Specifically, if they have "(x86)" somewhere in their path it will fail to parse the file.
