Subject [jira] [Resolved] (CB-3952) Config.xml Parser Should Not Remove Comments

Braden Shepherdson resolved CB-3952.
------------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

We're moving in the direction that the platform's config.xml is a build artifact and not to
be edited by hand. Therefore the fact that comments are stripped is not important. The files
to be commented will be the platform defaults.xml and the top-level config.xml.

> The {{config.xml}} parser module ({{/src/config_parser.js}}) removes existing comments.
> Since the {{config.xml}} can be a little complicated, most sample apps document the configuration
with comments. However, these comments are stripped by the {{elementtree}} module.
