Subject [jira] [Commented] (CB-4004) FileWriter fails to write large binary files
Date Thu, 27 Jun 2013 20:03:20 GMT

Ian Clelland commented on CB-4004:

Yes, I've been working on binary write; it's been in trunk for a week or so.

I'm not certain how well it will work for large files. Experimentally, we have found that
the bridge does not handle large volumes of data very well. Not sure where the limit is, but
I'm pretty sure it's well below 5MB.

> When attempting to write a file or blob (let's say a 5MB zip archive) to disk via FileWriter#write,
I receive a "RangeError, Maximum call stack size exceeded" when trying to turn the ArrayBuffer
into a Base64 string in #exec.
