Andrew Grieve resolved CB-3219.
-------------------------------

    Resolution: Won't Fix

Thanks for pointing this out Grzegorz. I don't think this is something we can fix in Cordova.
It's a problem with the underlying version of WebKit not supporting the Blob constructor.

For Android 3.0+, you can use WebKitBlobBuilder though.

> h4. how to reproduce
> When checking for Blob object support with the code (slightly modified boilerplate code,
from boilerplate project):
> {code:title=Bar.javascript|borderStyle=solid}
> var app = {
>     initialize: function() {
>         this.bind();
>     },
>     bind: function() {
>         document.addEventListener('deviceready', this.deviceready, false);
>     },
>     deviceready: function() {
> // note that this is an event handler so the scope is that of the event
> // so we need to call app.report(), and not this.report()
>         app.report();
>     },
>     report: function() {
>         alert(this.isBlobSupported());
>     },
>     isBlobSupported:function() {
>         try {
>             return !!new Blob();
>         } catch (e) {
>             return false;
>         }
>     }
> };
> {code}
> h4. result
> I get different results for iOS (true) and Android (false).
> h4. expected result
> code should return the same value for every device supported.
