Correct. I assume you installed globally via npm, i.e. {{npm install -g cordova}}?

If so, and your node install is global (and by the looks of it it is since it is in {{/usr/local}}),
you need to have permissions from your user account to that directory.

When you install via npm, the [install script will print out a big notice recommending that
you {{chown}} the dir in this circumstance](
Try that and it should work.
