Subject [jira] [Resolved] (CB-2062) HTML5 platform
Date Mon, 07 Jan 2013 19:26:12 GMT

Filip Maj resolved CB-2062.

    Resolution: Later

While I appreciate what you are aiming for here, we have other plans to get to what you are
trying to achieve here.

Essentially we will be including a "ripple" platform for support inside the Ripple emulator.
That platform will act as pretty much what you expect here.

Also, don't feel shy about bringing this issue up on the dev mailing list. I think some interesting
discussion would arise out of it and the objective here certainly lines up with the goals
of the project.

> I currently use the Cordova 'Android JavaScript' to do testing in the browser. Chrome
and Safari work nicely since they are both based on WebKit.

> Here’s some rough code:
> There's still a long way to go from HTML5 to be a 'platform', but it would be useful
for testing/debugging in the short term.
