I confirm that the template works on a real device (HTC 8X).

I see that html files are stored in xap and not copied to isolated storage, but cordova.js
doesn't contain the fix for XHRPatch - the template won't work in jQueryMobile-like cases
when the files are accessed via XMLHttpRequest. You can check the example: 
'Loading error' message will be displayed after clicking on any links.

The fix for this was sent in pull request below:
