Sorry, I've been fighting my own fires with a Continuum install on
Geronimo.  I thought one of the "official" people would respond to you.
Yes, this is the group email, and it is usually pretty good at responding.

I have run into the "goes away when timed out" issue once before - I agree
that it should stay, and there should be a history record and the build log
with the cancellation message appended to it.

You can certainly report this as a bug - follow the instructions on the site
and enter it.
