Subject [jira] Updated: (CONTINUUM-2342) Improve French localisation
Date Fri, 21 Aug 2009 12:19:41 GMT

Julien HENRY updated CONTINUUM-2342:

    Attachment: i18n issues continuum.PNG

In addition of issues mentioned in REDBACK-236, I also have some Continuum specific issues.

The first one is the fixed width of the left menu (see screenshot). Some menu entries are
truncated because the French translation is longer than English.

I'm not sure of the best solution so here are some proposals (in my decreasing preference

1) allow multi-line menu when text is too long
2) make the menu dynamically fit the longest menu item
3) enlarge menu to allow more space for non English localisations
4) try to shorten French labels to fit existing width
