Subject [jira] Commented: (CONTINUUM-1108) Change of Working Directory does not affect existing projects
Date Tue, 30 Sep 2008 17:49:45 GMT

Emmanuel Venisse commented on CONTINUUM-1108:

Maybe we can move this issue to a future version. I think it would be better to move the working
directory to the project group level and projects will be sub-directories of the project group
working directory. Why I want this?
With this, a user will can organize projects like he want and he'll can remove the project
id for the checkout directory and the user would can recreate their own project directory
structure that can be useful for some project with a flat structure

> In Configuration, changing the Working Directory does not affect projects already in
Continuum. It does take effect for newly added projects.
> To reproduce:
> 1. ChooseConfiguration (under Administration, at left)
> 2. Edit,
> 3. Change the Working Directory
> 4. Save
> 5. Stop Continuum
> 6. Delete or move the old working copy directory
> 7. Start Continuum
> 8. Force a build of any project
> Now check the old and new working copy directories. Continuum checks out the project
in the old directory, not the new one.
