Subject [jira] Closed: (CONTINUUM-352) scm value is erratic

Emmanuel Venisse closed CONTINUUM-352:

     Resolution: Won't Fix
    Fix Version: (was: 1.0.2)

it's the actual mechanism of continuum. values defined in pom are always used instead of modified
values in web interface. We think that this value is correct in pom because pom is the maven
reference and it's used by lot of plugins.

We'll reopen this issue if we change it in future or if we allow users to choose what is the
value the most important.

url is taken from the new project.xml? in that case, why bother in editing if it will be replaced
by cvs location?)

keep appearing (probably due to the scm url beeing modified on project update)
> MO: the information supplied on the webapp shuold always override the provided by the
sources, If it is a matter of documentation (it shuold certainly be well clarified) the scm
url is the one found in project.xml. It shuold specially be weel informed (visually on the
web) that the scm url will be overwritten by the value of the one in project.xm, if that is
the actual behaviour.
