Hi Paul, I work for Hortonworks (who is organizing the Dataworks/Hadoop
summit in Sydney).  As Bertrand pointed out
https://dataworkssummit.com/sydney-2017/ has the most current information
about the summit.  If you have further questions or need more information
you can send me email at gates@hortonworks.com and I can connect you to the
right people from there.
