Subject Re: Diversity: How many disabled people are at Apache
Date Tue, 13 Dec 2016 21:45:27 GMT
I've got a few from my time in the Army. Cutting code and working math
problems is my therapy.

I've been trying to mentor other service disabled vets / work with a couple
local groups in Chicago about introducing vets into the ASF / onto
projects, but nothing has caught so far.

Myself and the other two guys who run the Chicago Flink Meetup are all vets
(not disabled, but also in the general thread of diversity).

If anyone has been do any work reaching the veteran sub-population would
love to hear from them.
