Subject Re: [QUESTION] Is Maven Central part of the ASF infrastructure?
Date Fri, 02 Dec 2016 16:22:36 GMT
Sonatype gives a free license to Nexus Repository Manager to forges like Apache. In the case
of Apache Sonatype also helps with maintaining the repo manager. Brian Fox (CTO of Sonatype)
is Apache Maven committer and on the PM board.

Others feeding into Central are e.g. Atlassian, RedHat/Jboss... see http://central.sonatype.org/pages/producers.html#large-organizationsforges-repository-sync

PS: I wrote most of the docs as http://central.sonatype.org/ ...
