POC usually means proof-of-concept. It's a test to see how it fares. We're in the middle of
deciding how to best proceed with this. Having said that, it is fully operational as far as
public mailing lists are concerned. You can even reply to emails from it, as I have done here
:)

It should be. :) If/when this moves to a more permanent sub-domain, we'll keep pony-poc as
an alias, meaning the URLs should stay the same.
