I wonder with regard to mentoring are you interested in completing a project directly related to your coursework and how formal of a relationship you are looking for. Is there a professor at your University that would be involved or would you be the only one interacting with the community and mentor. Also what kind of time commitment are you interested in investing in the next three months. For Derby, usually I suggest new developers start with fixing bugs and our seemingly endless task of converting our tests to JUnit. That project can be easily tailored to skill levels and time commitments. Thanks Kathey
