Subject Upgrading to commons-email-1.1
Date Fri, 22 Feb 2008 16:14:01 GMT
I attempted to upgrade our application from commons-email-1.0 to
commons-email-1.1. We send mostly simple text messages, but
occasionally send text/html multipart messages. Simply replacing the
jar file, with no code changes caused our html email messages to display
the text part, and the html part showed up as an attachment. This was
seen in Lotus Notes and Thunderbird. If anyone can shed some light on
this I would really appreciate it.

Below are two sample messages, one generated with 1.1 and one generated
with 1.0. I removed the received lines for to shorten it up a little.

Thank you in advance
Tony Nelson
